DJMe Website

Project Overview
DJMe is a fully responsive multi-page website created from scratch using HTML and CSS as part of a college coding project. The project combines front-end development, branding, graphic design, and audio production to present a fictional DJ brand.
In addition to building the website, I developed visual promotional materials and produced original audio content to create a cohesive brand identity.

Goal
The goal of this project was to:
- Design and develop a fully functional responsive website
- Create a strong visual identity for a fictional DJ brand
- Integrate graphic design and music production into a cohesive digital experience
- Demonstrate front-end coding skills without using templates

DJMe is a modern event DJ brand targeting:
- Private events
- Club performances
- Concert-style shows
- Party bookings

The visual identity emphasizes bold typography, high-contrast visuals, and an energetic aesthetic that reflects live performance culture.

Website Structure
The multi-page website includes:
- Home page
- About section
- Services
- Contact page

The layout was designed to clearly communicate services while maintaining strong visual engagement.

Design & Development Process
1. Front-End Development

The website was built entirely from scratch using:
- HTML for structure
- CSS for styling and layout
- Responsive design techniques for mobile compatibility

Media queries were implemented to ensure smooth adaptation across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

2. Graphic Design Integration
To strengthen the brand identity, I created:
- A custom concert poster
- A DJ event ticket design

These elements were integrated into the website to create a realistic promotional experience.

3. Audio Production
I created original DJ music using Audacity, simulating real performance content. This added authenticity to the brand concept and demonstrated interdisciplinary skills beyond coding.

UI & Visual Decisions
- Dark theme to reflect nightlife atmosphere
- High-contrast typography for readability
- Structured layout for easy navigation
- Balanced spacing to avoid visual clutter
- Visual focus on promotional content

Outcome
DJMe demonstrates my ability to combine front-end development, branding, graphic design, and audio production into one cohesive project. This project strengthened my skills in responsive web development, layout structuring, and creating complete digital brand experiences from concept to execution.
