UX/UI Design for Mobile App BMCC Transfer Students

Project Overview
This UX/UI mobile app project was created to support BMCC students planning to transfer to a four-year college. The app design provides resources, guidance, and tools to help students track their progress, explore programs, and understand transfer requirements. The interface emphasizes simplicity, support, and clarity, aiming to reduce the stress and confusion often associated with the transfer process.

Goal
The goal was to reduce stress and confusion by presenting transfer requirements and resources in a clear, supportive, and easy-to-navigate interface.

Process
I focused on user-centered design by organizing complex information into simple, digestible sections. Wireframes and interface designs emphasized clarity, intuitive navigation, and a calm visual style. The app was designed with students’ real concerns in mind, such as deadlines, requirements, and program exploration.

Outcome
The final design offers a structured and reassuring experience that helps students feel more confident about the transfer process. This project enhanced my ability to design mobile-first interfaces and translate complex systems into clear user flows.
