PvP Fantasy Battle Game Interface Design

Project Overview
"Eclipse Arena" is a self-initiated, hypothetical PvP fantasy game concept created for a class project. The game concept, gameplay structure, and interface system were fully self-developed to demonstrate strategic game UI design in a competitive player-versus-player environment.

Game Concept
The game takes place in a fantasy combat arena where players compete in strategic one-on-one battles. Each player chooses a unique fighter with specific strengths, weaknesses, and skill sets. Before entering a match, players select combat abilities and review their character’s level, attributes, and battle type.

Target Audience
The game is designed for competitive players who enjoy strategic PvP combat experiences, similar to arena-based fantasy battle games. The interface was designed to support both casual and advanced players.

Goal
The main goal was to create an intuitive and visually engaging interface that supports strategic decision-making before battle. Since PvP environments require fast and confident choices, the UI needed to clearly display character stats, weaknesses, level progression, and opponent information without overwhelming the player.

Design Process
The process began with wireframing the core game flow:

- Character selection screen
- Ability customization screen
- Opponent presentation screen
- Player stats and battle preparation interface

Special attention was given to hierarchy and clarity. Information such as level, weaknesses, and combat type was positioned strategically to help players make quick tactical decisions. The layout was structured to feel immersive while maintaining usability.

UI Decisions
- Clear separation between character stats and combat abilities
- Strong visual hierarchy to highlight level and weaknesses
- Structured layout to support quick comparison between player and opponent
- Interface elements designed to complement a 3D fantasy environment

Outcome
The final interactive prototype demonstrates a structured and strategic PvP interface system. This project strengthened my skills in game UI design, competitive UX logic, and designing for high-pressure decision-making environments.
